Do I need to know anything about websites?
No. If you can type an email, you can use this. You change your site by asking in plain words, or by clicking the words on your page and typing over them.
Will it really use my own content?
Yes. We read every page of your current site and carry over your words, photos, hours and contact details. Where your old site had very little, we fill gaps with suitable stock photos you can swap any time.
What happens to my domain and my old site?
Nothing, until you decide. Your current site keeps working while you build and preview. When you go live, you change one setting where your domain is managed and your new site takes over. We walk you through it, or do it with you on the phone.
What does "verify your domain" mean?
It's how we make sure the domain is yours before putting a site on it. Usually it's one small setting we show you step by step. If you sign in with an email address at your domain, it happens automatically.
Can I cancel?
Any time, from your account. Your site stays live until the end of the period you paid for, then goes offline. Your designs stay in your account if you want to come back.
