Terms of Service

Last updated: October 26, 2026

In short: we rebuild your website, you can preview and edit it for free, and you pay only to put a site live on your own domain. You keep ownership of your content. You can cancel any time.

1. Who we are

Heartland Better Web (the "Service") is provided by Kwikcode LLC, a Kansas limited liability company ("we", "us"). You can reach us at support@kwikcodeapps.com. These Terms are an agreement between you and Kwikcode LLC. By using the Service you agree to them. If you use it for a business, you agree on the business's behalf and confirm you're allowed to.

2. What the Service does

You give us the address of a website. We read its public pages and build a new design from what's there: words, photos, opening hours and contact details. You can look at the result, make your own copy, edit it (by typing or by asking our AI editor), and, with a paid plan, publish it on a domain you own.

3. Your account

Some features need an account. Keep your sign-in secure, and tell us promptly at support@kwikcodeapps.com if you think someone else has used it. You must be at least 18, or the age of majority where you live.

4. Your content

"Your content" means the words, photos, logos and other material on your site, including anything you add or change in the editor. You keep all rights to it. You give us permission to copy, store, change, display and host your content only as needed to run the Service for you: building previews, saving versions, and serving your published site.

You confirm that you have the right to use your content, and that publishing it won't break the law or anyone else's rights. Only build and publish sites for businesses you own or are authorized to represent.

5. Previews of public websites

Anyone can request a preview of a public website, and we may prepare previews to show business owners what their site could look like. Previews are clearly marked as previews, are never put on the business's domain, and are kept out of search engines. If you own a business and want its preview removed, email support@kwikcodeapps.com and we'll remove it.

6. AI editing

The editor uses AI to make the changes you ask for. AI can make mistakes, so please review your site before you publish it and after you make changes. You're responsible for what you publish. Every change is saved as a version you can undo or restore.

7. Plans, payment and cancellation

8. Your domain

You keep your domain and stay responsible for it, including renewing it with whoever you bought it from. To go live, you'll verify the domain is yours and change a setting where it's managed. Changing domain settings can affect your email or other services; we show you exactly what to change, and we're happy to help.

9. Acceptable use

You agree to follow our Acceptable Use Policy. We may remove content or suspend sites that break it.

10. Availability and changes

We work to keep the Service and your sites running, but we can't promise they'll never be interrupted. We may improve or change the Service over time. If we stop offering it, we'll give you at least 30 days' notice and a way to get a copy of your site's content.

11. Ending the agreement

You can stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you seriously or repeatedly break these Terms, or if the law requires it. Where it's reasonable, we'll warn you first.

12. Disclaimers

Except as these Terms say, the Service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, we don't make other promises, including about fitness for a particular purpose, search rankings or sales.

13. Limits on liability

To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost profits or lost data. Our total liability for any claim about the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or $100, whichever is more. Nothing here limits liability that can't be limited by law.

14. Indemnity

If someone makes a claim against us because of your content or your breach of these Terms, you agree to cover our reasonable costs of dealing with it.

15. Law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Kansas, USA. If we have a disagreement, please contact us first; most problems can be sorted out quickly. Any court case will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Johnson County, Kansas.

16. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. If a change is significant, we'll tell you by email or in your account before it takes effect. If you keep using the Service after that, the new Terms apply.
